It’s been a busy period for the team at Rapha. Last week we announced the launch of their eagerly anticipated Canyon//SRAM Womens kit with it’s vibrant colours set to make them fly of the shelves.
Just today, they released the Pro Team Flyweight Glasses, their first foray into the technical sports sunglasses space, and finally offer an alternative to the uber cool Rapha classic glasses which are just as appropriate for an evening out as they are on a bike.
With their sleek lines and stylish lightweight simplicity, they’ll undoubtedly be a hit with fashion conscious cyclists all around the world despite the price tag of £140, which in fairness to Rapha, brings them in line with many of the offerings from the likes of Bolle and Oakley et al.
Supremely light, performance eyewear from Rapha, designed to be worn on your fastest rides. A UV-protective Carl Zeiss lens and high-strength polymer frame deliver uncompromising performance.
The Carl Zeiss lens features a UV400-protective Neutral Grey / Bronze Mirror as the standard model, with four other detachable lens colours, bronze, clear, silver, brown, and yellow available for you to purchase separately at a hefty £80 a pop.
A protective treatment leaves them scratch resistant, anti-fog, easy to clean and ensures dirt and water won’t stick. Three frame arm colours (and one RCC-exclusive option) allow you to choose the glasses that best suit the kit you ride in. The Pro Team Flyweight Glasses are also extremely lightweight at a mere 25g.
